onzer films is run by Sanne Jehoul, a film and culture worker with over a decade’s experience across programming and curation, distribution, event production, and editorial, with a particular focus on short form moving image.

Sanne previously managed the short film slate at Square Eyes, was programme director at Glasgow Short Film Festival, led the talent development programme for the BFI Doc Society Fund, and has worked with several other UK and European festivals.
She is currently part of the extended selection team at Visions du Réel, the selection committee for Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, a commissioning editor at Talking Shorts, and a consultant at Documentary Association of Europe. She also sits on the board of yanco, and regularly reads for various funds and labs (recently Chicken & Egg’s (Egg)celerator Lab, the Climate Story Fund, and Bridging the Gap). She has served on various international festival panels and juries as well as facilitating conversations and events, including at Cannes Rendez-vous Industry, Marrakech IFF, Dokufest, Cork IFF, Clermont-Ferrand ISFF, Curtas Vila do Conde, and more. In 2021 she was a curator-in-residence at Q21 in Vienna.

She has led and collaborated on various community-focused events and projects, including work in educational settings, with incarcerated audiences and participants, and events in partnership with unions and grassroots organisations. She's interested in working beyond traditional film and arts spaces, and in cross-sector solidarity and support networks.
